Film’s resistance to impact can thus be tested. Generally, 1 specimen is tested at a time and after 20 tests, record height and dart weight under broken and unbroken conditions for every test. This serves as a reference to the film’s resistance to impact.

QC-636 Drop Weight Tester is suitable for the tests of cushioning material. It is equipped with a standard drop striker weighted 5kg. Normally the drop height is 100cm, which can cause about 50 joules of energy to fall vertically and hit the sample.
